Avicenne Studio helped Usual by joining the existing team to provide support on web3 integrations at first, and the scope evolved to include smart contract development and DeFi integrations. The goal was to build the investment and liquidity management Dapp, and integrate it with many DeFi protocols.

Background

Usual hired Avicenne to provide continuous support on all development including reward system implementation, web3 and DeFi protocol integrations, and UI/frontend development. All liquidity providers have access to a Dapp allowing the tracking of their assets performance, and management by allocating them across various protocols to maximize rewards.

Team

Avicenne’s team was formed by a web3 expert and a technical lead with an extensive track record.

In addition to the technical work needed, their role was to ensure code quality, clear documentation, reporting, sprints planning and support on Usual’s hiring process with help on interviews and candidate screening, as well as service providers.

Computing points (airdrop allocation) based on users' TVL over time across partnered DeFi protocols -> Solution = The Graph + custom indexer + PostgreSQL

Providing optimal UX to institutional wallets (MPC/Safe...) -> Solution = ERC-1271 + Safe API

Ensuring the USD0 stablecoin stays pegged -> Solution = ParaSwap API (partnership) + custom smart routing between primary and secondary market
